What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes deep relaxation and supports the body’s natural ability to heal. Life force energy—also called chi, ki, or prana—flows through and around all living things. Stress, trauma, and daily life can disrupt this flow, leading to emotional, mental, or physical imbalances.

Reiki helps restore energy flow, encouraging balance and overall well-being. It works on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels—without needing to pinpoint or analyze the root cause.

Reiki isn’t tied to any religion or belief system, making it accessible to anyone, regardless of background. You don’t need to believe in Reiki for it to work—just an open mind and a willingness to receive.

Client Feedback

How I got started.

In 2019, I had a wake-up call—I wasn’t living the life I had once promised myself as a little girl. That realization set me on a path of self-discovery and healing [ongoing 😉].

With the guidance of friends in the holistic wellness space, I began exploring a whole new way of living. I changed my diet and healed a chronic gut condition. I immersed myself in self-care practices and worked with coaches, energy healers, numerologists, astrologers, doctors—you name it. I was searching for the magic pill that would make me feel whole.

But here’s what I realized: I was outsourcing my healing. And while seeking guidance is a natural and healthy step (I still work with coaches and counselors today), I knew I needed tools to support my own healing from within.

Everything changed after a trauma-healing retreat in Washington State in 2023. For the first time, I learned how to work with the energy I had been feeling in my body through qigong. That experience led me to a series of teachers and healers, including Reiki Masters, where I received my Reiki II attunement. Later, I deepened my practice through one-on-one mentorship with a local shaman.

I do this work because I know how heavy self-healing can feel. My purpose is to hold space for others on their healing journey.

If you’re curious, I invite you to try a session with me—no pressure, just an opportunity to see how it feels. I also encourage my clients to continue their self-growth through journaling, somatic practices, self-care, and working with other professionals.

You don’t have to walk this path alone. I’d be honored to support you.
